Two specific humans : do original sin
God : Oh, good, they're ready, send them to Earth and tell them to be fruitful and multiply.

The current human race is just the product of selective breeding by the lord to optimize sin. Think about it, in the Genesis, it is said that God created the whole of humankind on the 6th day, but then we only follow Adam and later Eve. God took a single human capable of sin and a mate created from his rib, singled them out from the rest of the species*, tempted the pair with easy sin (the fruit) then when they gave in and sinned, He put them back into the world to reproduce into a whole kind.

And sure enough, one of their sons kills the other, escalating sin from simply disobeying to killing. And what does God do? He protects him, makes him immortal, and makes him wander the Earth to know other humans. This is an artificial evolution pressure! The point is to encourage the reproduction of Cain and propagate the possibility of sin. I'd say God is a genius, but the guy is omniscient, he has no merit.

*It is written that Cain could be killed by other humans, which means there were canonically already other humans on Earth. Adam was simply taken to Eden in order to make him sin, not created there as the first human. I'm just going from the text here ^^
